Good day,
I humbly wish to seek for your urgent assistance in this matter. Having seen your contact in a business directory, I have the confidence that you will be able to assist me with this urgent transaction.
I am Diallo Sekou, a personal aide to Lansana Conte the Late Long-serving president of Guinea who passed on following a long illness on the 22nd of December 2008. As the personal aide to the late President, my duties among others involve handling of all personal matters and errands for the President. Few days before his death on the 19th of December precisely, I was directed by the president to move the sum of US$6.7 million (six million seven hundred thousand United States Dollars) from his safe deposit box to his offshore account in Switzerland. The money was supposed to have been airlifted with the Presidential Jet to Switzerland where it will be deposited to his account.
Before I could leave for Switzerland having already taken custody of the money which was carefully concealed in a Diplomatic Trunk box, the health of the President became very critical and I was forced to stay behind until the 22nd of December when the President gave up.
On the 23rd of December 2008 a military-led group declared a coup in the Country, take over the Government and clamp down on all officials of the last government which led many of us to forced exile. Presently, I am in asylum in the Republic De Benin with my family from where I am writing you this email.
Before I fled my Country Guinea for Republic De Benin, I left the trunk box containing the money with a Rev Father who is the presiding Priest of the Catholic Church where I worship who helped me to deposit it with a private security deposit firm as private personal effects and vital documents.
Now I have concluded arrangement to move the trunk box out from Guinea as a Diplomat consignment to where you will receive it. I need your assistance to help me receive the money for safe keeping.
If you are willing to assist and cooperate with me to help receive this money, reach me for further briefing. Once you receive the money, I will be able to process my travel to meet with you. For your assistance you will get 30% of the money plus the reimbursement of any expenses made.
I await your soonest positive response.
Best regards.
Diallo Sekou

Dear Mimi,
Thank you for your response to my email.
First and foremost, I wish to apologize for getting back to you late. I had a terrible fever and could not get up to access my email, I only manage to check my email this evening and I saw your response. I am glad that you are willing to help me and my family in this matter.
As I have said in my initial email, I want you to help me receive and secure this US$6.7 million so that I and my family can leave Africa and start a new life there in Europe. It has not been easy for us here in Republic De Benin where we are on asylum as we are lacking all the basic things we need hence, I want this matter to be sorted out as soon as possible.
Like I said, there is an arrangement in place to move the consignment containing the US$6.7 million as a diplomatic consignment over to Europe where you will receive it for safe keeping.
If this arrangement is OK with you and you wish to help me and my family we can get this matter sorted out before the weekend. Once, I hear from you, I will be able to get all the necessary information and modalities from the company and what you are supposed to do to facilitate this arrangement.
I wait for your urgent response.
Kindest regards,
Diallo Sekou.

Dear Mimi,
I have received your response to my email.
This morning it as been confirmed that the consignment will be moved as a diplomat cargo either to Spain or to you directly in France depending of the final arrangement with their overseas link.
To facilitate this arrangement, you will be required to pay the sum of €7,500 Euro to cover the handling charges, the cost of freight of the consignment and the air fair of the official who will accompany the consignment to Europe from Ghana. This money will be made available to the official on his arrival at the designated place either in Spain or in France where you will receive the consignment.
As I stated in my initial email, all the money you incurred as expenses to receive this money will be paid back to you along with the 30% which is your share for effort in assisting me to retrieve this money. I will need your advice and assistance when I arrive in France with my family of the best way to invest part of my own share.
To proceed further, I want you to send to me your address and phone number.
Kindest regards,
Diallo Sekou.

Dear Mimi,
I have confirmed from the company and I was told that since it is a direct delivery, the payment of the €7,500 Euro will be made to the official by cash.
I have also asked to confirm of your availability to go to Spain where you will receive the consignment should the arrangement to move it directly to France did not go through. They will help you to open an online account in Spain where the money will be deposited for onward transfer to your designated account in France or any where you want the money to be.
I wait for your urgent confirmation.
Kindest regards,
Diallo Sekou.

Can you send me your photograph so I know who to give all my money to? I will meet you in Spain on Saturday, under the clock in the Station in Madrid. I will be wearing a large hat, sunglasses and I will be in a wheelchair. I will have a large suitcase full of cash.

Diallo,
I am very sad, I waited all day for you under the clock with my suitcase, hat, glasses & wheelchair, and you didn’t arrive. What have I done to deserve this shabby treatment? The Late Long-serving president of Guinea would have been ashamed of you. You have one last chance to prove yourself worthy of my help. Do not waste it.

Diallo,
My trip to Spain cost €275. I wish to recover the costs from you. Can I send you my bank details so that you can pay the money in?
Obviously, if our little scheme goes ahead, this will be but a drop in the ocean.
I am well, although my hip hurts, and it is very sunny.
Love from Mimi Maung.

Dear Mimi,
Thanks for all your email. It is unfortunate that you are taken this transaction for granted or that you do not believe in it.
Thank you if that is the case and I will try and look for someone who can assist me.
Regards,
Diallo

Hello again Diallo,
Permit me to inform you of my desire to go into a business relationship with you as soon as possible. After going through your profile and praying over it, I selected your name among other names due to the nature of my proposal, which requires a reputable and trustworthy person. Someone who will be kind and sincere to me always.
My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant here in Paris, the economic capital of Europe, and he was poisoned to death by his business associates at one of their business meetings this week. My mother died on the 22nd may 1989 and my father took to me like a duck to water because l was motherless.
Before the death of my father yesterday in a private hospital here in Paris, he secretly called me to his bedside. When I sat down to listen to him, he started crying. Why, you may ask? (1) He complained that I am too young to be managing my life with no one to take care of me, and (2)That I have not yet finished my great work as he had planned for me. He revealed to me that he has a large sum of CASH (US$4.500.000.) (Four Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) left with a security company here in Paris, and that he used my name as his only daughter for his next of kin when depositing the funds.
He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates. He was quite weak at this point, and gasping for breath, but he went on to say that I should seek a God fearing foreign partner in a country of my choice where I should transfer this money and use it for proper investment purposes. Well, the country of my choice is the Republic de Benin, where you are lucky enough to be already installed. I must finish my important work there with the help of a business partner, and he or she should help me obtain a residence permit in Benin. My late lamented father, the Cocoa Merchant you may recall, issued standing instructions to the security company that the deposit must be transferred outside of this country to somewhere beginning with “B”. According to my father, the money was deposited as stolen art works to avoid attracting too much attention. He was a very clever man.
I am now ready to do all these things since my father, the famous Cocoa Merchant of Paris, is alas no more. I am sincerely seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1) To serve as my guardian in your country where I will depend on your expert advice since I am but an elderly woman with $4.5 million.
(2) To make arrangements for me to come over to your country in order to further my lofty aims.
(3) To secure a residential permit for me in your country and find a cattery for my many cats.
As a little token of my appreciation, I am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your assistance in the transfer of this deposit to your country. I know that you are in need of a bob or two at the moment, so hopefully this will help get you back on your feet. It’s funny how things turn out, isn’t it?
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Please reply very quickly.
May the Baby Jesus be your neighbour always.
Mimi Maung.
